Saif Ali Khan house robbery case: 7 high profile teams appointed to probe case- Update

Actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked at his Mumbai home during an attempted robbery. During the incident, the actor was attacked by intruders and sustained injured after which he was hospitalised. While he is out of danger now the probe is underway. As per recent reports, seven teams have been formed and will be actively working on Saif Ali Khan’s robbery case.

As per latest reports, the Mumbai Police have launched a high-profile investigation into the incident, forming seven teams to probe the attempted burglary-turned-violent. Forensic experts, a Dog Squad, and Crime Branch personnel are actively working on the case.

What happened at Saif Ali Khan’s residence?

According to preliminary reports, an unidentified intruder entered Saif’s home at around 2:30 a.m. A scuffle ensued between the actor and the assailant, resulting in the injuries. At the time of the incident, Kareena, Taimur and Jeh were inside the house. Saif tried to save his family from the attack and got injured during the fight.  Dr. Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, confirmed that Khan sustained six stab wounds, with two classified as deep injuries. One of the deep wounds, located near his spine, required the involvement of a neurosurgeon.

The actor is now out of danger and his team recently shared an official statement thanking fans for praying. Before this, the actor’s team also shared a statement that read, “There was an attempted burglary at Mr Saif Ali Khan’s residence. He is currently in hospital undergoing a surgery. We request the media and fans to be patient. It’s a police matter. We will keep you updated on the situation.”
